The biological community data holdings at the ICES Data Centre include abundance and biomass data for phytoplankton, zooplankton, zoobenthos and phytobenthos data. The ICES Data Centre is HELCOM's Thematic Data Centre (TDC) where data are compiled for the Cooperative Monitoring of the Baltic Marine Environment (COMBINE) for use in the HELCOM assessment process and also supports the needs of the Joint Assessment and Monitoring Programme (JAMP) of the Oslo and Paris Commissions (OSPAR).
