| Summary | The monitoring of macrozoobenthos of the Gulf of Riga has been carried out from 1993 to 2006. Petersen grab was used for sampling up to 1994 and van Veen grab since 1995. Sampling was done 1-3 times in a year. Since 2001 once a year. After sampling sediments were washed out through capron sieve (mesh size 0.5 mm) without separation fraction >1 mm. Samples were preserved with formaldehyde solution (4%) buffered with borax. Abundance and biomass are related to square meter. |
