Description
Summary

Long time series of oceanographic stations at fixed positions, and standard depths, carried out by local fishermen. Currently, 8 stations are worked at irregular intervals 25-45 times per year. Stations worked, with starting year, are: Lista (1942), Utsira (2 stasjoner, 1942), Sognesjoeen (1935), Bud (1971), Skrova (1935), Eggum (1935), Ingoey (1936, irregular). Old stations are: Faerder (1964-67), Ona (near Bud, 1946-54), Traena (1945-48) and Nordkapp (1955-67). All oceanographic data are processed, and partly quality controlled. Simple meteorological observations are normally carried out on each station (no QA).
