Description
Summary

Daily satellite images are collected routinely from AVHRR, Sea-WIFS and MODIS and processed (atmospheric correction, geographic registration, radiometric correction and calibration, application of algorithm to derive products such as chlorophyll concentrations). These processed images are already available for AVHRR and SeaWIFS and were available from mid-2002 (for the MODIS data) (Raw images are available from the University of Dundee). The resolution is quite coarse; each pixel represents 1.1 km squared.
