Gravimeters

The data comprise raw and processed observations made at nine stations throughout the world using the La Coste and Romberg earth tide gravitymeters together with the results of tidal analyses. Chart output was digitised and all manual adjustments to the instrument were recorded (movements of the pen, gain changes). This is the raw data set held. The manual adjustments were then corrected for and the data calibrated. Some data sets have been X0 filtered to remove instrumental drift. This is the processed data set held. These data were then fed into a standard tidal analysis program. Input parameters used, and the resulting output, are held.
