Description 
Summary

Many collections of seaweeds have been made around the British Isles, from the Channel Islands to the Shetlands, for over 20 years. Main study areas have included Dorset, Isle of Wight and Solent area. Local attention has been paid to algal introductions. Bulk collections have been made for pharmaceutical investigations into biological activity (haemaglutinins, anti-viral, etc.)
