Description 
Summary

Project ULISSE is a contract between the European Economic Community and the Institute of Oceanology Polish Academy of Sciences. The following were the subject of collaboration between the Institute and EEC: - The development of methodologies for the interpretation of Satellite Ocean Colour data in the Baltic with reference to the SeaWIFs sensor; - Integration of SeaWIFs Ocean Colour data in monitoring and modelling of the bio-optical state and primary productivity in the Baltic. The bio-optical data set comprises measurements at several stations in the South Baltic Sea, between longitudes 14° E - 19° 30'E and latitudes 54° N - 56° N and includes: - 30 stations in April, - 38 stations in August, - 35 stations in September.
