Description
Summary

The investigation on acoustic properties of the Arctic Seas started in 2000 and is still continued by the Institute of Oceanology. The main area of exploration onboard r/v 'Oceania' is situated in the confluence zone of the Atlantic waters (carried by the Norwegian, Atlantic and North-Spitsbergen currents) and Barents Sea waters.
