Description
Summary

The aim of the work was to describe hydrodynamic conditions and movement of salt sea water in selected parts of the Oder estuary. Water exchange between the south Baltic Sea and Szczecin Bay was to be described also. The measured data are used as boundary conditions and as verification data for numerical calculations with the 3-D model. Data were recorded every 5 seconds to 120 seconds, according to the instrument. They were logged in RAM or ROM memories, on magnetic and paper tapes, or read directly from counters on the instruments. There was close co-operation with the HYDROMOD company from Wedel in Germany and with the Marine Office in Szczecin.
