Description
Summary

The principal goal of the BSEC IP was to prepare the scientific base for implementation of the operational monitoring and forecasting system of hydrothermodynamic fields in the BS and the atmosphere. With this purpose the coupled regional model of the system '' Black sea - Atmosphere - Soil'' is developing within the framework of the BSEC project for the first time, which will be realized for the expanded territory with the centre - the Black Sea region. Nowadays separate modules of the coupled model are developing, which describe hydro and thermodynamic processes in different objects of the natural environment (sea, atmosphere, active layer of the soil). In the framework of the BSEC Project we used following data: Observed atmospheric wind and temperature in the troposphere on main isobaric surfaces 925, 850,700, 500 and 300 mbr at the moment 23.07.2003 UTC. Boundaries of domain are: 15 E - 60 E 30 N - 55 N Grid step - 40 km, amount of grid nodes along axis x is 127, along axis y - 70.
