| Summary | The data bank contains digital information on ice conditions in the Baltic Sea, Kattegat, Skagerrak and Lake Vaenern through the ice seasons 1963/1964 - 1979/1980. The data are given in a geographical grid. The size of each grid cell is 30 min. along parallels and 15 min. along meridians, which gives a square of ca. 28x28 km at the latitude of 60 ° N. The temporal frequency is two ice charts per week which gives a total of ca. 60 charts for each season. |
