The cruise consisted of seven longitudinal transects with 12 sampling stations. Vertical profiles of salinity, temperature and density were measured at every station during all transects, profiles of nutrients and biological parameters were measured during two transects only. Continuous measurements of salinity, temperature and chlorophyll were made in the depth of 5 m during all transects.
