| Summary | The information system of macro invertebrates contains abundances and biomass of macrozoobenthos originating from monitoring programmes carried out by regional environmental centres and supervised laboratories. The system has been fully operational from spring 2005 and it is mainly used by environmental authorities and research institutes for water quality reports and scientific studies. About one third of the data is coastal, the rest inland. |
