Parameters | Suspended particulate material aggregates; Ammonium and ammonia concentration parameters in water bodies; Land vegetation; Nitrate concentration parameters in the water column; Nitrite concentration parameters in the water column; Phosphate concentration parameters in the water column; Silicate concentration parameters in the water column; Suspended particulate material grain size parameters; Alkalinity, acidity and pH of the water column; Terrestrial water content; Concentration of carbohydrates, phenols, alkanols (alcohols), ethers, aldehydes and ketones in sediment; Oxygen production and respiration in the water column |
Instruments | Discrete water samplers; pH sensors; unknown; nutrient analysers; dissolved gas sensors |
Description | |
Summary | The idea is to investigate the suitability of petrochemical wastes secondary treatment in experimental plots of constructed wetlands (Typha, Phragmites, Scirpus, Juncus) particularly the degradation of fractions refractory to activated sludge processes. |
