| Summary | The 3D models are organized in a package of models based on a baroclinic hydrodynamical model (TRIHID). This package includes pre- and post- processing modules and the following models: a) a water quality model; b) A bed flux sediment transport model including the most common bed flux sediment transport formulas (BEDFLUX); and c) An eulerian-lagrangian dispersion model to simulate buoyant plumes. Under development is a model for cohesive sediment transport considered as an active contaminant. |
