Description
Summary

The numerical wave model has a square grid with 27 x 27 points separated by 300 Km at 60° N and a spectral grid of 9 periods and 16 directions. The input wind is obtained from the atmospheric model from ECMWF and produces wave analyses every 6 hours. Outputs for 13 points near the coast of Portugal mainland, 16 points near northern, southern, eastern and western coasts of Azores and Madeira Archipelagos, and 7 points off the coasts of Portugal, or other points upon demand can be obtained. Quality control is carried out on the archived data.
