| Summary | The dataset comprises horse mackerel catch in number at age; mean length at age and mean weight at age and by quarter and area have been estimated since 1984. Landing details include length composition by quarter and area (north, centre and south of the Portuguese coast) and maturity at age. Catch per unit of effort was calculated. This information, based on commercial samples in harbours and survey cruises, is used in the stock assessment. |
