| Summary | The study comprised the following parts: 1) testing of the hypotheses of 'larval retention areas' and study of sardine growth in larval and juvenile pre-recruitment phases; 2) study of the mortality in those phases; 3) characterisation of oceanographic conditions of the studied area and adjacent coastal areas, namely those referring to circulation in the upper layers. |
