Zoobenthos taxonomy-related wet weight biomass per unit area of the bed; Zoobenthos generic abundance

The aim of this project is to evaluate the present state of marine biodiversity and habitats from the Romanian coastal waters and to compare it with the biodiversity and specific habitats state registered in the past 40 years. 16 zoobenthos samples were collected from the Romanian Black Sea Coast between Midia Cape and Tuzla Cape (44.21 N- 28.47 E to 43.5930 N - 28.4330 E). Phytoplankton, zooplankton and icthyofauna samples were also collected from the same stations and analysed in the NIMRD laboratories. The data were collected from 72 sites along Romanian Black Sea coast (1 to 20m in depth) from Sulina to Vama Veche (data set limits: 45.10 N - 29.55 E to 43.46 N - 28.40 E).
