Description
Summary

The project focuses on the development of the physical and chemical characteristics of the water masses form Romanian littoral area, in the new context of actual climatic changes and human influence. Assurance of the data supply and surveillance continuity on environmental factors and its evolutional trends under action of external driving forces. Six cruises were carried out in the river plume/mixing zone Danube-Black Sea in three years. The water samples were collected from 10 stations at 3 W-E sections, at standard depths, together with 6 cruises on the Constanta section with 5 stations at standard depths. The NIMRD's laboratories which make physical - chemical analysis of the water samples have the accreditation ISO EN 17025 / EC starting with 2001.
