Description
Summary

The project focuses on the assessment for the nutrient emissions (nitrogen and phosphorus) in the Romanian Black Sea marine and coastal area, together with its effects on water quality and especially on the ecological status of the Western Black Sea coastal area. In this regard, the project will provide data concerning total nutrients in transitional and coastal areas taking into account both continental inputs (by Danube), transfer to the internal processes and the interaction with open sea. The DQ procedures used by NIMRD for physical and chemical analysis of the water samples are certified by ISO EN 17025 / EC starting with 2001. The data sets are in the text format and storage on the computer.
