| Summary | The data set comprises marine geophysical data - navigation, bathymetry, gravity and magnetics - collected on over 75 cruises to the North Atlantic, the continental shelf around the British Isles, the Mediterranean Sea and the Indian Ocean. Data collection began in 1956; data collected between 1956 and 1982 are held by the British Oceanographic Data Centre as well as by the University of Cambridge, Department of Earth Sciences. |
