Description
Summary

The objective of the project was to produce a complex sedimentological map of the Romanian sector of the Western Black Sea. In the framework of this project seafloor samples have been acquired using a Van Veen grab. The code of these measurements was BS-SED (bottom sediments for 1:200 000 and 1:50 000 scale sedimentological map). These samples have been taken for sub-sampling in order to analyses them for grain sieze, clay mineralogy, heavy minerals, forams, ostracods, molluscs, pollen and CaCo3 contents. Data are in electronic format and as graphs on paper. The positioning has been done by means of the HiFix system.
