Description 
Summary

The data set contains the observations from 450 coastal stations. The observed and calculated parameters (mean, maximum and minimum for day) are included in the data set. The data are checked visually, syntactically and for limiting values. The data are combined according to seven sea regions and river outfall areas, 70-80 sites are combined in one region. The USSR sea regions: 1-Baltic 2-White, Barents 3-Kara, Laptev, East Sibirian 4-Chulchi, Bering, Japan 5-Okhotsk 6-Aral, Caspian 7-Black, Azov
