The data set contains sea ice and other meteorological observations from 450 coastal stations. The frequency is 1 obs/day. The data set is organised by groups of seas: the north group - the Baltic Sea, the White Sea, the Barents Sea, the Arctic Seas; the south group - the Sea of Azov, the Aral Sea, the Caspian Sea, the Black Sea; the Far East group - the Bering Sea, the Sea of Okhotsk, the Sea of Japan. The data are checked visually, syntactically and for limiting values.
