| Summary | Black sea digital bathymetric map are prepared by All-Russian Institute For Explorations Geophysics staff managing by Dr. B.Vaskovsky (Sank-Petersburg, Russia). Source for digitising was complect of marine maps of Black sea edited by Main department for Navigation and Oceanography Ministry of Defence of Russian Federation and disseminated through International Hydrographic Bureau for usage with aim of Navigation Safety. Data are distributed on map charts. Scheme of charts is shown below. Data represent by set of projects released in ArcView 3.0. Data are in /DATA/RUSSIA/ catalogue in separate subcatalogues named as charts numbers. CD-Rom containing all available digital bathymetry for the Mediterranean and Black Seas, as gridded data sets. The grid size has been targeted to 0.1'. |
