Description
Summary

Joint project of the Black Sea countries with the leadership of the Middle East Technical University of Institute of Marine Sciences, which was supported by the program NATO for peace (NATO/SfS). International program have encompassed the development and application of interdisciplinary ecosystem models. The capacity-building component focused on providing cross-training; making scientific equipment interoperable; carrying out intensive and extensive joint observations; monitoring through satellite imagery, collaborative analyses, and synthesis of past and present data, producing joint publications and developing a communication network.
