| Summary | Temperature and salinity data were collected by Port Erin Marine Laboratory (part of the University of Liverpool) in Port Erin Bay, Isle of Man, from 1904 to 2011. Temperature was recorded twice daily (1000h and 1600h) and salinity daily at 1600h. Temperatures were recorded using a thermometer. Salinity was determined on a daily basis only since 1966, first by Autolab salinometer and finally by using a Plessey salinometer. |
