Description
Summary

The collection contains information on the biology, systemics and ecology of marine invertebrates, principally molluscs, equinodermata and crustaceans of hard and soft substrata, from level 0 down to 1200m on the Catalan and Balearic coastlines. Samples were collected directly by means of autonomous diver, trawler or Van Veen dredges. Ideal substrate is collected for substrate macrofauna (coral concretions, algae masses) of a known area. Data are stored by species (geographic distribution, abundance, substrata...) and communities (diversity...).
