Abra of Bilbao (N Spain)

Zooplankton chemical composition; Zooplankton non taxonomy-related abundance per unit volume of the water column

The collection contains data on the composition and abundance of zooplankton larger than 250 microns and 45 microns collected at 7 stations in the Abra of Bilbao, the former with vertical trawlings from a depth of 10, 15 or 20m to the surface, and the latter at fixed stations at 4 or 5m depths. The sampling was done in the course of a yearly cycle and with a frequency of once a month. The information on abundance is stored in taxon sample matrices for each sampling. For the former the number of sampling was 10 performed with the tide going out and 14 for the latter, of which 11 were performed with the tide going out.
