Description | |
Summary | A collection of samples obtained from the sedimentary and micropalaeontological analysis of 3 cores, 25 cm log and fractioned at 5 levels, extracted from the bottom of the Canyon of Cap Ferret, in the Bay of Biscay, at depths that go from 1969 m to 2985 m. This study allows for the determination of the horizontal and vertical distribution of foraminifers and ostracod marine microfauna, as well as the palaeoecological interpretation on the temporal evolution of this area during the recent Quaternary. |
