Summary | A morphodynamic cartography is developed with a view to knowing and understanding the physical processes of oceanic islands. This is very necessary for the planning and management of these areas. Within a specific climatic areas, cartography classifies a territory into morphodynamic categories on the following basis: geological, morphogenetic, evolutive. Currently charts of the islands of La Palma, El Hierro, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria are available. |
