| Summary | A temporal series of a year with weekly samples of plankton collected at the single sampling station in the centre of a water column at a depth of 3m. Distribution of sizes of all planktonic organisms, from bacteria to fish larvae. The organisms were measured and classified in accordance with taxonomical and size criteria for the construction of the biomass spectrums. Primary production was measured fortnightly in the second half of the year using C14 in on-site incubations and fractioning with Nucleopore filters with pore diameters of 0.2, 0.6, 1, 3, 5, 10m. |
