Description
Summary

40 hydrographic stations were sampled in the course of two cruises of R/V 'Agamenon' in the channel separating Gran Canaria from Tenerife. Temperature and salinity were measured from the surface down to 1,500m. Some stations launched drifters for the study of surface currents. Four moored 24- hour stations using Aanderaa current meters in depths of 300 metres and parachute follow-ups during two tides were carried out.
