Description
Summary

In August 1966 and April 1967 we carried out two cruises on board the naval vessel 'Tofino'. A total of 102 stations around the Canary Islands and the adjacent African coast was sampled to study the hydrographic conditions of the area of the Canaries. Temperature and salinity were taken from 0-600m. At some stations we launched plastic drifters for the study of surface currents.
