| Summary | The collection contains phytoplankton data of the 'Plataforma I' expedition of the R/V 'Naucrates' carried out in the Rias of Muros and Arosa and the adjacent shelf in September 1978. Total number of stations sampled: 26; 20 stations on the shelf and three in each Ria. Samples taken with Niskin bottles within the photic zone at three depths. Samples were fixed with Lugol and kept in the dark until they were to be studied. Species counts were done following the Utermohl technique. Abundance details of cels/ml. The chemical team of the Oceanographic Centre of La Coruna also has data on hydrography and nutrients. |
