Summary | In 1901-02 the first hydrographical station in Sweden were built. In 1909 Otto Petterson found that the temperature and salinity differed from day to day at Borno and daily measurements started. One of the advantages compared with light ship measurements was that samples could be taken during winter, through a hole in the ice.The data has been quality controlled. |
