| Summary | Dataset contains information on the abundance and microzooplankton biomass, according to a range of sizes, on the Galician and Cantabrian shelf. In April 1991, 87 stations were sampled, using 20 cm Y and 53 micron Bongo nets, from San Sebastian to the South of the Ria of Vigo. Haulings generally reached a depth of 100m In the course of 24 hours, 4 haulings at 3 stations (Santander, Gijon and La Coruna) were carried out, using a LONGHURST-HARDY PLANKTON RECORDER fitted with temperature, depth and water flow sensors. A total of 117 samples was the result of the study on vertical distribution. |
