| Summary | Since 1990 observers embarked on vessels bound for Greenland Halibut and which picked up information which was stored in 4 types of files: 1) haul characteristics; 2) captures per species; 3) distribution of size per species and haul; 4) biological samples. The information collected was: date, longitude, latitude, depth (starting and ending fishing operation), capture and discardings per species, distribution of sizes per capture and discards of sizes, sex, maturity, weight, stomach, otolites and processed weights of commercial species. |
