Description
Summary

The data set resulted from UK collaboration in the Greenland Sea Project as part of the EC MAST II programme. Data collected include SeaSoar, navigation, meteorology, XBT, shipborne ADCP, sonic anemometer and sea surface parameters. Data were collected by the Tactical Exploitation Section of the Sonar Performance Division at DRA, Portland. SeaSoar, navigation, meteorology and XBT data have been processed to the DRA standard MIDAS user data file format. These data have been screened for format and data errors and corrected to produce a 'clean' data set. The sea surface monitoring data have also been screened.
