Parameters | Air pressure; Air temperature; Cloud cover height and extent; Dissolved oxygen parameters in the water column; Wind strength and direction; Nitrate concentration parameters in the water column; Phosphate concentration parameters in the water column; Salinity of the water column; Horizontal velocity of the water column (currents); Dissolved total or organic phosphorus concentration in the water column; Nitrite concentration parameters in the water column; Silicate concentration parameters in the water column; Temperature of the water column |
Instruments | Current meters |
Description | |
Summary | Along two sections (Hanstholm - Kristiansand and Hallo (Sweden) westwards) in the Skagerrak standard water bottle hydrography including some chemical constituents and simultaneous current observations were carried out in order to elucidate features of the large-scale circulation and mixing. Gelatine pendulum current meters were used. The deepest current meter was attached 10 m above the bottom. The depth of the top current meter varied. |
