Description
Summary

The data set comprises 4 x 5 degree grid fields associated with the heat balance of the global earth oceans. These include surface wind speed, sea surface temperature, sea-air temperature difference, air temperature, specific humidity, sea-air specific humidity difference, sea level pressure, net upward long wave flux, latent heat flux, sensible heat flux and net downward heat flux. Monthly and annual mean fields are included. The data are held in PP format.
