Summary

The data set comprises global monthly mean sea surface temperature (SST) and ice coverage from 1948 to 1991, on a 1 ° x 1 ° grid. The data are stored in PP format. Note there are errors in the Hudson Bay and the ice-edge area in the south east Pacific.
