Description | |
Summary | The data set comprises vertically averaged ocean temperature from the surface to 360 metres. This data covers the period from July 1982 to December 1992. The data is from the NMC ocean analysis project. Each file contains the vertically averaged temperature in the tropical Pacific ocean from the surface to 360 metres for one month. A file has the name nmc heat YYMM.pp where YY is the year (88 for example) and MM is the month (01 for example). Fields are in PP format. The grid information is included in the extra data. |
