Description | |
Summary | During June and July 1992 OGS, in cooperation with the Istituto di Geologia Marina (CNR) and the Institute of Geology of the University of Parma, conducted a marine geophysics survey of the Eastern Atlantic Ocean with the purpose of studying the interactions between the African and European Plates. During the survey a total amount of 2034 km of seismic reflection and gravity profiles was performed. The seismic data have been collected with the following sampling parameters: Coverage = 3000 % Sample Rate = 2 ms Shot Interval = 50 m Streamer Length = 3000 m Streamer Depth = 12 m Group Interval = 25 m Number of Groups = 120 Record Length = 13 sec (Line ARCRIF92-001: 14 sec) Air-Guns: - Total Volume = 80 l - Pressure = 140 bar - Depth = 6 m |
