Description
Summary

During the months of March and April 1991, the R/V OGS-Explora conducted a multidisciplinary survey in the Magellan Straits. Besides various datasets, about 709 km of high resolution seismic data have been collected and 238 km of marine gravity data. The research has been sponsored by PNRA in the framework of the Circumantarctic Subprogram. The data have been collected with the following sampling parameters: Coverage = 1200 % Sample Rate = 1 ms Shot Interval = 12.5 m Streamer Length = 300 m Streamer Depth = 6 m Group Interval = 6.25 m Number of Groups = 48 Record Length = 3 sec Air-Guns: - Total Volume = 8 l - Pressure = 140 bar - Depth = 6 m
