| Summary | During the month of November 1989, the R/V OGS-Explora conducted a multidisciplinary survey in the Magellan Straits. Besides various datasets, about 513 km of high resolution seismic profiles have been collected. The research has been sponsored by PNRA in the framework of the Circumantarctic Subprogram. The data have been collected with the following sampling parameters: Coverage = 1200 % Sample Rate = 1 ms Shot Interval = 12.5 m Streamer Length = 300 m Streamer Depth = 6 m Group Interval = 6.25 m Number of Groups = 48 Record Length = 3 sec Air-Guns: - Total Volume = 8 l - Pressure = 140 bar - Depth = 6 m |
