| Summary | Within the framework of the G.R.O.G. (Gruppo di Ricerca Oceanografica di Genova) program, the Laboratorio di Geologia Marina e Sedimentologia (Laboratory of Marine Geology and Sedimentology) has carried out sedimentological, morphological and geodynamical studies of the Ligurian continental platform. Simultaneous studies on the suspended particulate matter and on the heavy metal and organic compound distributions in the sediments and the waters were also carried out. |
