| Summary | The project was devoted to studying the air-sea interaction and mixed layer deepening, for useful comparison with other similar experiment and with output from numerical models. Instruments are calibrated and intercalibrated on a regular basis in the SACLANTCEN. Derivation of salinity and density values from temperature and conductivity is carried out according to UNESCO standard algorithms. Standard meteorological observations complete the station records. |
