| Summary | Five satellite-tracked drifting undrougued buoys were used in order to map the surface circulation in the Northern Adriatic Sea. Three buoys were deployed on 25 August 1990 in the Gulf of Venice at (12.999° E, 45.414° N), (12.995° E, 45.415° N) and (13.005° E, 45.414° N). Two other buoys of the same type, were deployed on 15 September 1990 off Rimini at (12.694° E, 45.562° N), (12.456° E, 44.437° N). *REFERENCE: Nuovo Cimento, 1992, 15C (3), p. 265-274 |
